There is an old and famous adage that says: “Hard work pays”. Such a wise saying is of the education that harvest corresponds to sowing. On that note, Executive Director for Othakarhaka Foundation, Ida Puliwa Mwango, was presented with an award as the Best Community and Social Services Promoter during the Young Achievers Award of Excellence.
The awards presentations took place at Golden Peacock five-star Hotel in Blantyre on July 7 in a ceremony that was characterized with acceptance speeches, Photo Sessions, music and socialization of attendees.

In a congratulatory message, Programs Director for Othakarhaka Foundation, Ted Mwango, said such recognitions are so important as they signify the work being done at Othakarhaka Charity Foundation under the leadership of Ida Puliwa Mwango who is becoming more and more appreciated while keeping the mood and energy level up.
“We also extend our congratulations to all the brave daughters and sons of Malawi for being recognized in different categories,” he said.
Of note, Mwango’s award comes on merit as Othakarhaka Foundation keeps gaining ground in Malawi in terms of championing community and social services on free-of-charge basis
